Danbury police arrested 24-year-old Dakota Lancey on Thursday, after a months-long investigation into illegal drug sales. Detectives from the Special Investigations Division executed several search warrants following complaints from concerned citizens. Lancey was taken into custody at his home in Park Brook Apartments, where detectives found drugs, a scale, and packaging material in his 2017 Mercedes-Benz. A search of his apartment uncovered $57,000 in cash, narcotics, hallucinogens, cocaine, and more drug paraphernalia. Lancey faces multiple charges, including operating a drug factory and possession with intent to sell. His bond has been set at $10,000.
