A Ridgefield man who painted the official portrait of President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, has died. John Howard Sanden… according to family members… passed away Christmas Eve at his Ridgefield home. He was 87. John Howard Sanden is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sanden; his son, Jonathan Bryant Sanden; and his daughter, Pamela Brooke Sanden… along with five grandchildren and many other family members.
