State Police Release Holiday Report

Connecticut State Police responded to nearly 3,000 calls over the July 4 holiday, including 157 motor vehicle crashes, one of which was fatal… claiming the life of a 43-year-old Naugatuck man who died after a car rear-ended his motorcycle. From July 3 to July 5, troopers dealt with 259 violations, including speeding, distracted driving, and DUI. They also assisted 130 motorists. Aside from the fatal crash, only one other serious injury crash was reported.
