You can get your well water tested at a discounted rate during the New Milford Farmers Market on August 10. The Housatonic Valley Health District, in partnership with York Labs, is hosting the event from 9 a.m. to noon that day. Test kits for various contaminants, including lead and so-called “forever chemicals” will be available for purchase. Residents can also sign up for home water sample collections. Completed test kits can be returned at the market or to York Lab in Newtown until August 17. Educational materials on clean water will also be provided. That date again is August 10th.
