Surgery Center In Danbury Change Of Ownership

Health Plus Ortho Management, based in Uniondale, New York, is seeking majority ownership of the Orthopaedic Specialty Surgery Center in Danbury. The company aims to increase its stake to 57.7% by acquiring an additional 17.7% ownership interest for $7.26 million. The Connecticut Office of Health Strategy held a public hearing on Tuesday regarding the transaction. Currently, 19 physicians own 60% of the center collectively. If approved, the center’s services and pricing will remain unchanged. The surgery center has been serving patients since 2019.
