Candlewood Valley Country Club in New Milford has a new owner now. Despite the fact that recent flooding temporarily closed the golf course, it has been sold for $2.5 million to New Milford Golf LLC. The 18-hole public golf course spans nearly 160 acres and includes a banquet hall housed in a converted barn. The course, located along Danbury Road, had been owned by the Rehnberg family since 1977. The new owners, led by local resident Jerry Romaniello, have not announced any immediate plans for changes or development on the property
