Danbury will hold a 9/11 remembrance ceremony Wednesday led by Mayor Roberto Alves. Local officials and members of the Danbury Fire and Police Departments will join the community for the event at the city’s 9/11 Memorial in Elmwood Park on Main Street. The memorial features a twelve-foot glass tower on a granite pentagon, lit from dusk to dawn, honoring those lost in the attacks. The ceremony will begin at 6pm and all are invited to attend.
