In Bethel, a special town meeting will be held next Tuesday to go over details of an appropriation adding up to a little more than four million dollars, for work on the HVAC system at Bethel High School. The system has been trouble for years after not being updated when the school was renovated. The bitter cold back in January 2018 resulted in failures that forced some classes to be moved, and some temporary heating systems to be installed. Bethel will hold a special town meeting on January 3rd at which time a date will be set for a referendum on the $4.18 million appropriation.
