Danbury police responded to a reported threat at the Danbury Fair mall Sunday afternoon, but quickly determined it was not credible. Officers arrived at 4:30 p.m. and found no danger to the public, allowing the mall to resume normal operations shortly after. Officials are investigating the incident as a swatting call, marking the third false report at the mall this year. Previous incidents include a bomb threat in August and an unsubstantiated report of an armed person in April. Authorities continue to investigate.
