Ridgefield will vote on Wednesday to lease space at 66 Grove Street to house the school district’s alternative high school and transition program. The building, previously a gym, would provide more space and better facilities than the current locations, which are said to be inadequate. Renovations are estimated at $2 million, with rent set at $14,000 a month. A special town meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at Scotts Ridge Middle School to decide on the plan.
