A Southbury man was arrested Friday night after allegedly assaulting an elderly person and two police officers who responded to a domestic disturbance on Hill Place Drive. 27 year old Tyler Scalera faces multiple charges, including third-degree assault on the elderly, assault on a police officer, interfering with an officer, and disorderly conduct. He is being held on a $25,000 cash bond and is set to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing.
