Tree Destruction Concerns Bridgewater Resident

An area resident is seeking justice after more than 40 old-growth trees were bulldozed for a satellite installation project he claims was unauthorized. Scott Roberts, who has owned the property in Bridgewater for generations, says that the work was carried out by Lumen Technologies and Level 3 Communications without town approval. The destruction removed trees meant to provide privacy for his planned home. The Inland Wetlands Commission has confirmed that no permits or necessary studies were filed. Meanwhile, Lumen has begun filing for after-the-fact permits.
