State Police Will Be Watching The Roads This Weekend

Connecticut State Police will be out in force over this holiday weekend, and they will be conducting roving patrols and DUI checkpoints through the New Year’s holiday with a special eye out for impaired drivers. Police expect Connecticut’s highways to be busy through Sunday, and they urge drivers to be safe and smart while on the roads this weekend. Obey the speed limit, wear seat belts, use signals, and keep cell phones put away while driving. Most importantly, don’t get behind the wheel if you are impaired by drugs or alcohol.
