The Danbury Health Department is celebrating the graduation of nine new members from its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training, which concludes this Saturday. Held at the Danbury Fire School, the program equipped participants with essential skills in disaster preparedness, life-saving techniques, and fire safety. Graduates learned critical responses for emergencies, including AED certification and light search and rescue methods. They also connected with local emergency responders, gaining insight into how their roles support community safety.
