Police in the are are urging people to lock their cars after a string of vehicle thefts and attempted burglaries. Surveillance footage shows two teens stealing a key fob from an unlocked Range Rover. The suspects returned the next day, attempting to use the stolen keys to enter a nearby home. Although they failed to break in, they did get into an attached shed. Police now say one of them was involved in a shooting just days later and was arrested with a loaded firearm. Both teens now face multiple charges. Police recommend keeping cars locked, securing home entry points, and considering video surveillance systems.
