Residents of a Danbury condo complex on Shelter Rock Road are still without heat, nearly three months after severe August rainstorms caused massive damage. Flooding from the storm triggered a mudslide, washed out a gas line, and left five buildings in the Berkshire Hills Condominium Association without gas service. Repairs to the damaged infrastructure will cost at least $200,000, and funding remains a challenge for the small complex. Eversource is working with the association but needs the foundation repairs completed before restoring gas.
