A man from Pennsylvania has been extradited to Connecticut to face charges related to attempting to solicit sexual contact from an 8-year-old girl. Naugatuck Police say 31-year-old Kevon Beckford is now charged with attempted fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. The investigation began in February, and Beckford was taken into custody last Thursday in Pennsylvania. He’s now held on a $25,000 bond and was arraigned in Waterbury Superior Court. Beckford is also wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
