Connecticut’s top 10 elementary schools have been announced by U.S. News & World Report. Washington Primary School in Washington Depot in Litchfield County is ranked No. 2. Connecticut’s fourth best elementary school is Sherman School in Fairfield, according to the rankings. Farmingville Elementary School in Ridgefield is ranked No. 5. Rankings are based on test scores, student-teacher ratios, and readiness for high school. The report reviewed over 500 schools in the state and 79,000 nationwide.
