Latest Chapter In Redding Goat Lady Saga

The Connecticut Appellate Court has upheld a ruling granting the state permanent custody of 65 goats that were seized from Nancy Burton’s farm in Redding back in 2021 due to allegations of animal cruelty. Burton, a disbarred lawyer, argued against the custody ruling, but a three-judge panel unanimously rejected her claims. The goats were adopted out in 2022 following the initial ruling.
