A Danbury father and son were arrested after allegedly attacking a man who caught them vandalizing his car last month. Police say Benjamin and Justyn DeFonce assaulted the victim with hammers in his driveway and threatened him with a gun when he confronted them. The incident occurred on October 28 in Danbury’s Hayestown section. Both men now face multiple charges, including second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
