Police Chase Ends In Danbury

A Naugatuck woman is facing a long string of charges after fleeing New York police and crossing into Connecticut. 33 year old Courtney Calvo led police on a chase along I-84 after being stopped for a cracked windshield and invalid registration. Her vehicle, linked to suspected retail thefts, had two flat tires and was driving on damaged rims. Connecticut State Police assisted in stopping the car near Exit 8 in Danbury, where Calvo then attempted to reverse into an officer. She’s behind bars now, with bond set at $500,000.
