The 5.4-acre site, owned by Mill Plain Center Limited Partnership, has been leased to Stop & Shop since 1989, with five years still remaining on the lease. Despite the sale listing, the store will remain open. It’s the last Stop & Shop in Danbury after the closure of the Newtown Road store in October.
