A group of New York City investors has purchased the 118,000-square-foot warehouse at 60 Backus Avenue in Danbury for $9.7 million. The building, which houses tenants like Waterworks, was sold on November 20. Originally built by Robert Kaufman, a key figure in Danbury’s commercial real estate growth, the property will remain leased to its current tenants. The new owners, who have purchased eight properties in Connecticut over the last two years, plan no changes to the building’s use.
