Anne Armeno has been appointed to the Southbury Board of Selectmen, filling the seat vacated by Jason Buchsbaum, who stepped down to serve as state representative for the 69th House District after winning the November election. Armeno, a Republican and longtime Southbury resident, brings extensive local government experience, having chaired the Southbury Republican Town Committee and served on various commissions.
