Stolen Car Pulled Over In Newtown

Police in Newtown pulled over a car, and discovered that it had been stolen from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The car was being driven by 41 year old Oscar Rosado of Bridgeport. Rosado was charged with first-degree larceny and driving without a license. He remains in custody on a $5,000 bond and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. Delving into court records revealed that Rosado has a long list of prior convictions and pending cases, including weapon, drug, and larceny charges. He’s due back in court on January 8.
