Authorities Say No Known Threats in Connecticut After New Orleans Terrorist Attack

Connecticut State Police today, continue to maintain that there is no known active threat here in our state following that deadly vehicle attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and the explosion of a cyber truck at the Trump Plaza hotel in Las Vegas. The suspect in the New Orleans incident has been identified, and he was killed at the scene. The person killed in the cyber truck incident has not yet been publicly identified. Connecticut authorities, who were already deploying extra patrols for the holiday, continue working with federal partners to monitor safety statewide.
