A former Connecticut resident accused in a $1 million DoorDash phishing scheme that targeted more than 700 delivery drivers, will not be facing any charges now. 22-year-old David Smith, formerly of Stanford, was fatally shot Monday in New Rochelle. Police say it was due to some sort of personal dispute. Two people are now charged with murder, and the case against Smith will now be dismissed.
