A head-on crash on Ball Pond Road in New Fairfield has claimed the life of a woman from New York State. It happened Monday night near Harvest Road. 62-year-old Diane Staab was driving a Jeep Compass that collided with a Hyundai Palisade, injuring three New Fairfield residents, who are expected to recover. Their names have not been released. State Police are investigating the cause of the crash and ask anyone with information to contact them.
