The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut has been awarded a $10,000 Challenge America grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The funding supports the Creative Youth Development Program in Danbury, and connects diverse communities through arts, addressing gaps in funding for arts education. The NEA awarded $2.72 million nationwide to similar initiatives.
