Connecticut’s first proton therapy cancer treatment center is coming to Danbury. Danbury Proton, LLC will open a $72 million facility offering cutting-edge proton beam therapy to target and eliminate tumors. This treatment, not yet available in the state, is set to revolutionize cancer care. The center is expected to open soon with a single treatment room, marking a major advancement in cancer treatment in Fairfield County. Another proton therapy center is under construction and set to open by next year.
