Huge Opioid Program

Connecticut is investing a whopping $58.6 million from opioid settlement funds into a new Housing as Recovery program, all to support 2,500 people… that’s 500 people annually over four years. Governor Lamont is behind it, claiming that it provides rental aid, case management, and recovery support for those who may be facing homelessness and opioid addiction. The program will be overseen by state agencies.
