New Danbury Downtown Regs Approved

Danbury’s Zoning Commission has unanimously approved new downtown regulations, expanding the district from 210 to 450 acres. The changes lower height and parking restrictions too. Mayor Alves calls it a major step toward revitalizing the city center. The changes are aimed at making downtown more development-friendly. The process began years ago with public meetings, and more than a thousand local residents have contributed their input.
