Two men are facing charges in Danbury after police say they were profiting from a woman’s prostitution. Johnathon Damasceno and Luis Rivera, both 35 years of age, were arrested following a lengthy investigation. Police say the woman told them she was trafficked in 2021, forced to meet men for money, and never saw the earnings. Authorities say the two men controlled her, set up online ads, and took the profits. Damasceno is free on bond, while Rivera remains in custody. Both are due back in court on March 10.
