Ridgefield School Budget Tops $120 Million!

Ridgefield’s school superintendent is proposing a $120.5 million budget for the 2025-26 school year, a 4.8% increase over the current year. The plan adds 14 positions, including elementary world language and special education teachers, while cutting seven roles to meet shifting needs. It also reduces utility and technology costs. The school board is set to vote on the proposal when they meet today, with town approval expected in May.
