Former Danbury Police Officer Seeks Accelerated Rehab Program

A former Danbury police officer accused of stalking a woman while on duty is seeking a program that could erase his criminal record. 34 year old Myckol Rodriguez was charged with second-degree stalking after a state police investigation found he allegedly followed the woman multiple times last year. His attorney plans to apply for an accelerated rehabilitation program for first-time offenders. A judge also granted a protective order, requiring Rodriguez to stay away from the victim. He was fired from the department in December. His next court appearance is set for April 17.
