Danbury Teen Pleads Not Guilty In Rogers Park Shooting Case

A Danbury teen charged in a drive-by shooting at Rogers Park last summer has pleaded not guilty. 19 year old Jimmy Acevedo faces multiple charges, including carrying a pistol without a permit and first-degree reckless endangerment. Police say shots were fired at three minors on July 8th. No one was injured. Acevedo was arrested in December, months after co-defendant Alexie Espinal’s arrest. Both remain free on bond and are due back in court April 28.
