Nearly 100 Girl Scouts will gather at the Connecticut State Capitol today for Girl Scout Day, learning firsthand how state government works. Hosted by Girl Scouts of Connecticut, the event includes discussions with legislators, a Capitol tour, and presentations on civic engagement. A special pinning ceremony with lawmakers will highlight the day, marking the first event of its kind since 2019.
