A Ridgefield mother-daughter duo, Catherine and Kayla Scatterday, are in their second year of the “Born to Thrive” fundraiser, supporting Danbury Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They raise money and deliver community-made cards and drawings to families and staff in the NICU. So far, they’ve raised $7,200 of their $10,000 goal to help newborns thrive.
