A Bethel man is facing charges in connection with a deadly crash last April. Police say 22-year-old Louis Marcantonio was driving over 85 miles per hour when he lost control, causing his car to roll over. Maria Da Mata, a 19-year-old Central Connecticut State University student, was ejected. She died at the scene. Authorities say no drugs or alcohol were involved, but Marcantonio is charged with manslaughter and reckless driving.
