Money On The Way To Improve Neglected Cemetaries

Governor Ned Lamont announced state grants for 37 Connecticut towns to maintain neglected cemeteries. Each town will receive $8,000 through the state’s Neglected Cemetery Account Grant Program to support basic upkeep like mowing, clearing brush, and repairing headstones and fences. Included in the list of towns receiving grants, are New Milford, Ridgefield, and Redding.
