Danbury is getting a $5 million boost from the state for its downtown revitalization project. The funds will cover Phase II of “Streetscapes for the Future,” improving walkways and streets along Main Street, Liberty Street, Independence Way, White Street, and more. It’s part of a $77 million statewide grant package backing 35 projects across Connecticut.
