A Newtown construction company is planning to turn the former Taunton Press campus on South Main Street into an 80-unit luxury apartment complex. Claris Design Build wants to add walking trails, a community garden, and high-end amenities like golf simulators and a mini theater. The company also plans to move its headquarters to the site. The project, called Flats at Taunton, still needs approval from town boards. A wetlands hearing is set to continue on Tuesday.
