Storms moving across Connecticut Saturday knocked out electricity to about 800 homes and businesses. Eversource said crews worked through the night and had just 44 outages left by early Sunday. Officials said falling trees brought down lines as up to an inch and a half of rain hit some parts of the state. Eversource said repairs were made as quickly and safely as possible.
