Animal Cruelty Case Against Danbury Man Dismissed After Program Completion

The animal cruelty charge against a Danbury man accused of killing his puppy has been dropped. Stephen Siguenza admitted to police in early 2023 that he hit his 3-month-old miniature Goldendoodle in the head multiple times after claiming the dog became aggressive. The dog later died. Siguenza was accepted into a court diversionary program, which he completed successfully, resulting in the dismissal of the charge last week.
