No injuries were reported after a fire at home early Sunday morning on Lexington Drive in Brookfield. Fire crews arrived around 7:37 a.m. and quickly contained the blaze to a second-floor front bedroom, preventing further damage. The Red Cross is assisting three adults displaced by the fire. The cause is under investigation. Less than 12 hours earlier, Brookfield crews quickly contained a blaze that broke out at a home on Obtuse Road South. Firefighter responded just before 9 p.m. Saturday and found heavy smoke, but the fire was limited to an area of flooring. No one was injured or displaced, The cause of that fire is also still being investigated.
