Lamont Reappoints Gillett As Pura Chairperson

Governor Ned Lamont has reappointed Marissa Paslick Gillett to serve another two-year term as chairperson of the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. Gillett, who joined PURA in 2019, will continue in the leadership post starting July 1. Lamont called her the most experienced and qualified person ever to serve on the authority, citing her energy policy expertise and fairness. State law requires the governor to select a PURA chair every two years in June of odd-numbered years.
