Danbury Airport Awarded Federal Funds for Infrastructure Upgrades

Danbury Municipal Airport is getting more than $225,000 in federal funding to upgrade its lighting vault equipment. The money is part of a combined $8.7 million awarded to Connecticut airports, with Bradley International receiving the bulk for terminal expansion work. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Transportation to help improve safety and efficiency. Connecticut’s Congressional delegation said the upgrades will enhance the passenger experience and support long-term infrastructure goals across the state.
