Expert Urges More Housing in Branchville As Ridgefield Considers Village Plan

A design expert says Ridgefield’s Branchville neighborhood needs more housing to bring round-the-clock activity to the area. At a recent forum, it was suggested that could be accomplished by adding apartments and condos to the mostly commercial zone near Route 7 and the train station. Ridgefield’s Planning and Zoning Commission is reviewing development ideas, including walkable areas and zoning updates, with public input set for this Saturday, July 19 at the Ridgefield Library.
