Connecticut has struck a deal to increase Medicaid reimbursement rates for its 17 community health centers. The new agreement will phase in $80 million in rate hikes over three years, starting October 1. The centers serve about 440,000 patients annually. The plan also allows them to request rate changes based on the services they provide and streamlines the appeals process. State officials say the investment will strengthen access to primary care, dental, and behavioral health across Connecticut.
