Danbury has signed off on Amazon’s request to install an AI-powered vehicle inspection garage at its Old Sherman Turnpike distribution site. The 1,750-square-foot structure uses cameras and sensors to detect safety issues like tire damage or undercarriage problems in seconds. Amazon says the technology improves accuracy, speeds up inspections, and helps keep delivery vans on the road. The company plans to roll out the system at hundreds of sites across North America and Europe.
